- The first monograph on a young, up and coming, art world star - With special features, including augmented reality The first, lavishly produced monograph on the work of Leon Lwentraut, (b.1998) a young and upcoming star on the German and international art scene. He has an enthusiastic following among young audiences, is highly visible on social media, and the openings of his exhibitions are art world events. His pop, hyper-expressionist paintings - inspired by Picasso, Matisse, Baselitz, and Basquiat - mix vibrantly colorful figurative subjects with abstract elements.
In 2020, he was included in the German Forbes 30 under 30 list of people destined to change the world. He has done several projects in support of UNICEF and UNESCO, including the Global Gate, a work that incorporates 17 UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals, which was on display at the Frankfurt airport.
